Kirsten Hammond, Registered Massage Therapist

Kirsten Hammond is a registered massage therapist who has been practicing massage therapy since 1998, and is now happy to be operating her own clinic.

Since 1998, she has successfully contributed to a multidisciplinary clinic environment, as well as worked independently to share holistic healing.

Kirsten has continued to develop her skills and knowledge in pre and post natal massage, infant massage, core stabilization exercises and osteopathic techniques for the spine and pelvis.  Some of the specific techniques that she finds effective are: deep tissue massage, myofascial release, swedish relaxation and trigger point therapy.

As always, a variety of techniques are used to achieve the specific goals of each client, whether it be to recover from an injury, assist in promoting a healthy lifestyle, or help with the physical goal of completing a marathon or birthing a baby!

When Kirsten is not practicing in the tranquil setting of the Evolutions Massage Therapy clinic, she is joyfully participating in her chaotic family life of raising three children whilst wondering when she can fit in her next run!

Qualifications:

• Graduated from Foothills College of Massage Therapy, Calgary Alberta – 1998
• Graduated from Okanagan College of Massage Therapy (3 yr/3000hr program), Vernon BC – 2002
